1. The vehicles in these tournaments will be announced in an Intro video posted on Sundays. Each vehicle can be chosen by only one participant, and each participant can select only one vehicle.
2. The Intro videos will be posted on Sundays. Participants pick their vehicle by announcing the pick in the comments section of the Intro video no later than midnight on the Wednesday following the posting of the Intro video.
3. There may be time trials or qualifying to set the brackets. When time trials and qualifying do not happen, vehicles will be randomly assigned to the bracket.
4. For the first three rounds, four vehicles will compete against each other four times, with the starting positions alternating for each race. Points will be awarded as follows:
1ˢᵗ = 5 pts., 2ⁿᵈ = 3, 3ʳᵈ = 2, 4ᵗʰ = 1 DNF = 0
The top two vehicles in points after their four races we’ll move on to the next round.
5. In the case of a tie, the vehicles will each run one lap on both lanes, and the fastest single lap time will be used as the tiebreaker.
6. Round 1 will consist of 16 competitors in four groups. Round 2 will have eight competitors in two groups. Round 3 will consist of one group of four competitors. The final round will consist of the two cars with the most points from Round 3 competing head-to-head.
7. The driver with the most points from round three we’ll get to start in the preferred lane for the first race. The starting lanes will alternate after the first race. The first to win four races will be awarded the championship.
8. If the winner shares their mailing address and shipping is less than $10, the winner will receive a Hot Wheels Mystery Model. If shipping costs more than $10, once they win three races, three Mystery Models will be combined for one shipment.
